The Confederate Legion

We honor all things Confederate and Southern, including our history, heritage, culture and nationhood; however while we study the times in which our honorable forefathers and foremothers lived, we look to the future that we might help make history, rather then merely look back with a sense of loss at what might have been.  We are heirs to a glorious past, of the kind in which legends are made, however they are gone and we are here; it is now time for us to devote ourselves to the task before us.  Our principles come from the Almighty God in Christ Jesus, the Holy Scripture and prayer, along with the examples of those who have gone before us; these serve as a guiding light and strength to help us build a future for our posterity.

Our mission and purpose is to forge a Confederate Military Ceremonial Honor Guard; this is a long term project, however since we are a 'work in progress' we may not always be visible to the general population.  None-the-less encouraging progress is being made and our numbers continue to grow.  We will post a report below from time to time on gains made which might be of interest to those who support our cause.

Those who support our just and honorable cause are encouraged to join the Confederate Legion; we have a place in the legion for Military Veterans, Non-Veterans, men and women.  Those who after browsing our website feel like they would like to join the Confederate Legion may click below where it says “Contact Us” which has a hyperlink attached.

The state of the Confederate Legion

We have all certainly attended at holiday parade at some time, watched the various marching units, bands, floats as well as the antique automobiles.  Haven’t you ever wandered why our men in gray were never represented; maybe even a single small command for the sake of pride in our Confederate history, heritage, culture and nationhood?

Times without number I’ve left just such a parade with a sad feeling deep inside; “Where are our boys, I’d think to myself?”  Those who love all things Confederate and Southern and have often imagined the day when by some miracle of Almighty God, we might see a return of those long gray lines of men in gray.

There will be no detailed report given at this time, but suffice it to say the foundations have already been laid and while the Confederate Legion is not quite visible to the general population at this time; still we have already fielded several commands in local parades.

The Growth of the Confederate Legion is proceeding at a better then average pace; the day is nigh at hand when we shall together witness the return of our boys in gray.  The next time the family has an opportunity to attend a parade, particularly in our major cities; take a closer look.

Our men in gray are returning and in the not to distant future they will be seen in numbers which will awe patriots, allies, friends as well as our occupation forces.  “We have now halted the retreat and have already begun the long march back!”  Over a decade of work is beginning to turn the tide; "We have returned!”
