Million Man March
Proposed for Tuesday 9 April 2009
The date is a suggestion only and can be adjusted!

"The contest is not over, the strife is not ended. It has only entered upon a new and enlarged arena." --- Jefferson Davis, address to the Mississippi legislature - 16 years after the wars end.  There is a growing mood of dissatisfaction among the general population with politicians, parties and their lack of principle.  There has never been a better time or circumstance for staging the largest spectacle ever witnessed.  Let the bureaucracy, the mass media and the people known; 'We have returned!'

Now is the time, take action soon, get involved!

Greetings!  I've been bombarded lately, in the pleasant sense of the word, as to what we can do in the not to distant future to further the Confederate Cause.  Each individual has phrased the question somewhat differently, but that is the essence of the various questions.  Our modern Confederate movement has been underway for approximately 16-1/2 years with only meager gains to show for all the years we have struggled.  Therefore I have come up with a project in which we can all participate; men, women, boys and girls.

It is proposed that our `Confederate Cause' consolidate its efforts and hold a literal 'Million Man March.'  The date of such a march should be scheduled for an historic date when the most emphasis can be gained.  There is probably few dates which could be chosen which would have a greater impact then the date of Tuesday 9 April 2009 which marks 144 years since the surrender of our Confederate Armies; therefore this date is recommended above all other dates, but certainly other choices would be viable.

Then there is the issue of organizing such a march; along those lines a Million Man Committee needs to be created, beginning with a Chairman of the Committee.  The Million Man Committee should consist of from five to seven members!  The participants in the actual march need to include as many groups as possible; Confederate Legion, Sons of Confederate Veterans, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Confederate Re-enactors, Confederate States Patriots as well as history, heritage and culture organizations.

The men who participate in the march should wear gray if at all possible; this might consist of gray Levis, gray shirt and a gray ball cap bearing some type of Confederate Logo. It is recommended that the men organize themselves into companies, regiments, brigades, divisions and so forth. A description of military ranks and unit structure can be found by logging onboard the web page -

The men who march in the parade need not be professional, but a minimal amount of training and practice drills would make for a much better along the parade route.  This can likely be achieved by arriving 15 to 30 minutes early!  We wish to look like we are organized, rather then appear like a stampeding herd!  It is suggested that the ladies and children lead the way in front of their respective commands so as to set the pace.  It is not for me to suggest what the ladies should wear but for the sake of effect, looking like ladies would do nicely.

The Chairman or Chairwoman of the Parade Committee should be focused, knowledgeable and experienced in organizing this type of picket, parade or protest; including gaining the proper parade permits, as well as safety and security.  This means working with local governmental officials including the police.  It is recommended that a 'Confederate Lawyer' be sought who would provide ongoing legal advise and intervene where necessary.

The concept behind a Million Man March is for those who are actually marching on the street to constitute quite literally a million people, not including an equally large number of spectators to line the way.  Let me put it this way; this cannot be a one man project, it is either all of us joined together or this spectacle will never take place.  If we were to actually carry out such a march, the attention drawn to our cause would increase our number to where we would then constitute a formidable political force.

The Million Man March, with our Confederates in Gray, is recommended to take place on Tuesday 9 April 2009; the date suggested would allow for organizing, advertising and preparations.  Those participating would have plenty of time to save money for the trip to the city chosen!  It is further recommended that each command carry at minimum, the Third Confederate States National Flag, Navy Jack and Battle Flag.

The idea behind such a march is to gain the undivided attention of the mass media, the politicians and the electorate; the greater our numbers and performance, the greater will be the effect.  My email addresses are posted below for those who may wish to make contact with me.  Also the place to begin for anyone prepared to take the proposal serious is to locate and propose a qualified Chairman or Chairwomen of the Parade Committee for the Million Man March Committee.

If you are content with the Confederate Cause remaining relatively small and ineffective; just do nothing.  However if you wish to launch the cause into a major movement which capable of turning the scales in our favor; this is your opportunity.  Help make it happen; now is the time for action!

God Save the Confederacy

The name 'Million Man March' is only a descriptive title used solely to present the proposal; a Parade Committee for such a march would likely assign an appropriate name and title for the occasion.  Unless one is assigned by the popular will before hand of course!  It should be understood this project is a suggestion only; it is up to those who believe in all things Confederate and Southern to determine if they collectively have the incentive to make it happen.

The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert it's self, though it may be at another time and in another form." --- President Jefferson Davis.  Many of us have for some time now considered the issue regarding a possibility of 'those people' doing something extremely foolish and even dangerous on a grand scale.  When considering their imperial federal court system and a secular humanistic mindset, particularly when it comes to the sciences.  Then add to this their determination to dominate over all aspects of society.  Well I could go on and on, but a dangerous situation is taking shape, and has been for many years.  When the pressure cooker builds up enough pressure, an explosion will eventually take place.  In my view the masses of the people, including the armed forces will be faced with unavoidable choices.  We must eventually take action; if now is not the time, then when; if this is not the means, then what strategy is suitable?
