Welcome Onboard!

The Confederate Legion and its Gideon Battalion are expected to grow; it is important that an effective means of introducing ourselves should be devised.  Therefore a brochure has been created for the Confederate Legion's Gideon Battalion.  This brochure cannot possibly give a complete chronology describing our organization; none-the-less the brochure does provide an initial introduction.  It is recommended that anyone wishing to inform others about the Confederate Legion and its Gideons should down load a copy of the brochure.  The Confederate Legion's primary mission and purpose for existing is stated on these brochure and our website in general provides a more detailed explanation.

The below Gideon Battalion Brochure is posted in two renditions, the first is for reading purposes only, the second is strictly for printing.  This brochure should be printed back to back and head to head on 8-1/2" x 11" white paper, therefore the printable rendition when opened will appear sideways for this reason.  Also the print edition should be opened in your Paint Program and be sure to check your 'Print Preview' to be sure the pages are aligned properly for your particular printer.  You are welcomed and encouraged to make use of this brochure in order to spread the word as to the Confederate Legion and its Gideon Battalion, as well as its strategy for victory.

After down loading the two pages, which make up the Gideon Battalion Brochure, open them with your paint program, then click file, afterward click print preview!  This should tell you if each page will fit properly on an 8-1/2 x 11 inch sheet of paper, it should.  But if by chance it doesn't, shut down the the print preview page, then go to image, now click stretch/skew, here you can adjust the size of the page to be printed, one degree lower at a time.   Note, if you reduce the page to be printed to small, the printing  will distort!  The brochure should be printed back to back, thus there are two pages posted below.
